Elul Zman Classes
The cost for the Elul Zman learning experience is the same whether you take one class or all four: $90 for CBST members, $180 for non-members. All classes take place on Zoom.

The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay at the Met Opera

Join us for a trip to the Metropolitan Opera on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at 8:00pm to see The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay! This trip to the opera will wrap up our Elul Zman Adult Education series leading up to the High Holidays, which will be centered around Michael Chabon’s Pulitzer Prize–winning novel of the same name. This new operatic adaptation will tell the story of two Jewish cousins who, shortly before the outbreak of the Second World War,  invent an anti-fascist superhero and launch their own comic-book series, hoping to recruit America into the fight against Nazism.


There are three tiers of tickets available, with 20 total seats available in each tier:

  • Balcony - $116

  • Mixed seating - $87.50

  • Family Circle - $52
